Liansheng currently manufactures industrial-grade Tetrahydrofuran (THF). The company does not operate dedicated production lines for electronic-grade or pharmaceutical-grade THF.
The product is recovered and purified from the company's PBS/PBAT biodegradable polyester production process. Continuous distillation is used to remove water and control peroxide levels and other impurities.
For semiconductor wafer processing or high-end pharmaceutical applications requiring ultra-high-purity anhydrous THF, small customized distillation samples may be available for laboratory evaluation. Long-term bulk supply of these ultra-high-purity grades is currently not available.

Is your THF externally purchased crude material or recovered in-house?

How do you control water and peroxide levels?

The industrial-grade specification includes a water content limit of ≤100 ppm.

The product is also subject to peroxide control during production and storage.

Can THF form peroxides during long-distance ocean transportation?

For this reason, export packaging uses sealed, light-protective packaging designed to minimize exposure to air and light.
